This will be a post about shared values that unite humanity. It will speak on:
* Values vs. Beliefs: looking how how society and systems are often dictated by beliefs rather than values (beliefs lead to ideology and fixed thinking)
*Values vs. Beliefs decision making: how being centered around shared values can center decision making around the common good
*It will look deeper at a few shared values and how they could operate in systems change
*It will explore the shared values of the CoLab and how they facilitate systems change
We must shift from beliefs and ideology to shared universal core values
--> CoLab shared values:
Human potential
Rather than leadership which is top-down, leadership that is adaptive and centered on systems change
Accelerating the true potential within each individual
Human-centered
Rather than technical, one-size-fits all solutions
Collaboration
Rather than siloed disciplines, cross-sector collaboration and collective impact
Impact
Rather than a sole focus on stakeholder value, a shift toward an impact economy and impact organizations (alignment between people, planet, and prosperity)
